I was just saying that according to the FAQ, the changes to OFFSET the horsepower loss had no effect. Read the FAQ again more carefully: "Different cams installed to compensate for lost HP (total still at only 280 HP)." So why'd the engineers bother? Different cams to compensate for the loss to 280hp...but they didn't; nice. And I know the source isn't SCC; I didn't claim it was. I was just saying that it's the only mag in which the 280hp rumor has ever even been mentioned. Trust me, I've got 'em all (Turbo, SCC, Z Car Mag...). Give me the name/date of the mag, and I'll see what you're talking about, but I can't say it's my call to believe a reference you can't even provide :( I gotta' deal with facts here, not fictional references. The source was here on this forum; I've gone round and round about this with him. I've got a copy of all the e-mails if you want to chuckle at his insane logic. Trust me: it's bench seat logic. And like I said, NO ONE who makes the claim can show you an engine dyno of a 96TT putting out 280hp. They simply can't do it. Yet look a couple posts above; Goose93 dynoed >250 at the wheels bone stock.
